Summary of Duties & Responsibilities: Architecture & Engineering Program Manager for an international architectural firm stressing integrated solutions for multi-unit retail clients with offices in the U.S., Mumbai and Kuala Lumpur. Responsible for the design and construction of 33+ Home Depot stores throughout the western United States. Communication and coordination with client Real Estate Developers, Real Estate Managers, Site Development Coordinators, Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental and Traffic Engineers. Secure and communicate due diligence and entitlement activities both with client and architectural team. Establish, moderate and direct all contractual meetings with the authorities having jurisdiction in order to secure permits: Site, Building, Signage, Generator (AQMD), Racking through compliance with Code and local regulations. In partnership with the client (The Home Depot Project Managers) qualify and select the GCs for bidding and awarding of contract; oversee the production of construction documents/drawings by in-house Project Management architectural team. Planning, setting dates for all client deliverables. Oversee timely responses for all RFIs, design changes and directives during construction. Overall monitoring and directing all Home Depot program activities from contract proposal thru the completion of project: closeout. Each projects budgets ranged from $25 to $50 million. The average building: 130,000 square feet with a construction schedule of approximately 6 months.
Internal Client advocate by coordinating with the following departments: Real Estate Development Services, Architectural/Engineering and Construction Project Management. Oversee & participate in the Client Project process as defined by contractual agreements. Communicate project requirements from the Client to the applicable internal offices, Client Service Units & Production Managers. Manage successful delivery of all contractual services for the Client, including Quality Control review of services. Partner with Account Director to perform all invoicing activities and achieve the communicated financial goals for the project. Prepare Project Proposals, coordinate internal review and client approval,& continually align fee/scope with the Client during project lifecycle. Administer & manage Clients contacts for project pipelines & timelines to assist driving revenue optimization. Support Architectural Studio Managers achieve identified budget goals and utilization targets for all team-managed projects. Develop forecasts of Clients Programs and revenue volume; communicate them as directed by Account Director, to help ensure the organizations capacity to deliver. Review and recommend renewal points of Client Master Agreement with Account Director and VP of Client Care. Oversee the timely delivery of project deliverables within each program; monitor client accounts receivables and assist in collection on overdue invoices. Maintain frequent and direct contact with the Client; become trusted advisor managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, measuring individual and project team performance, and proactively promoting Client satisfaction and revenue growth. Ambassador for corporation for all Client interaction, facilitating and monitoring direct contact between functional contacts as required. Attend Client Regional Real Estate Development strategy meetings to organize and direct up and coming project schedules and teamwork load. Provide feedback for performance review to Account Director and/or Client Services Director. Identify production associates needs for training and coaching to keep the production studios efficient and effective.
