Job Description
a.Install new electrical services and equipment; run conduit for fixtures, receptacles, control circuits, and lighting; select and install wires, accomplish hookups and test installations.
b.Perform various technical work including diagnosing motors for overloading and failure; perform voltage and resistance tests; calibrate solid state circuit boards; upgrade existing electrical services.
c.Resolves problems of balancing electrical loads, peak loading, overloading, phasing.
d.Evaluate each job as it arises; diagnose electrical problems and search for proper solutions; refer problems to appropriate staff.
e.Perform standard computations relating to dimensions of work; amount, type, and size of electrical wire, fittings required; weight, support and location.
f.Create sketches of circuitry layouts and other electrical installations as needed.
g.Purchase electrical parts, materials and supplies as needed; maintain minimum inventories; perform record keeping duties for parts and materials used.
h.Estimate material and labor costs necessary for electrical installations, upgraded electrical services, and repair projects.
i.Ensures that all work is done according to standard practices, Philippine Electrical Code, and provincial and local building codes;
j.Maintains clean and orderly conditions in all working areas.
k.Ensures duties are performed in a fiscally responsible manner while observing all safety practices and regulations;
l.Performs any other duties as required.
