SCIT (Southern California Institute of Technology) is a private college that has been serving the Orange County community for over 21 years. We offer a California State Approved Whole General Electrician program (School #145). Our students gain theory, book knowledge, practical application, Electrician Trainee cards, and are ready to work upon completion of the 7 month GE program in all residential, commercial or industrial fields. Our program is very structured as students may continue to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. All of our students learn from instructors with a wealth of industry knowledge and in-depth work experience. Furthermore, our fully equipped hands-on labs compliment our teaching staff with heavy hands-on projects that simulate industry standards and practices. The GE program includes, but is not limited to:

Principles of Electricity and Electrical codes (NEC)
Interpreting Blueprint drawings and constructing wiring diagrams
Conductor installation and conduit bending
Electrical installation using various wiring methods
Panel and switchgears installation
Motor Control and Power Distribution
Allen Bradley Units and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Troubleshooting, OSHA safety and EPA requirements
