April 2008- July 2008: Business machine salesman for A.C.T. Business machines in Chattanooga TN. Outdoor sales and accounts management. June 2002-April 2008: Self employed as a residential and commercial mason. The majority of work was high end custom brick and stone on houses $500,000+. Led a crew of up to 8 people. Handled all bidding, payroll, lay out, meeting with customers and builders, etc. Letters of references from builders available on request. I can provide photos of completed projects. January 1996-July 2001-Employed as a labor, then apprentice, then journeyman mason for Adams masonry, a commercial masonry company in Chattanooga, TN. Duties were installation of masonry units on commercial projects. Left because work was slow, I was laid off and Masonry Specialists had an opening. My supervisor was Steve. Education: I have a high school education, some training in computer networking. I have been trained as an FMLA administrator. I have completed a stick welding course for commercial masonry.
Misc.: I am willing to relocate for steady employment. I have transportation, and I am drug free and can pass random drug testing. I have enough knowledge of Spanish to communicate effectively in the masonry trades. I work well with others, but expect to be paired with competent masons.
