I have multiple responsibilities being the Administrative Assistant for the Business Management department at the Anchorage School District. I am Accounts Payable for vendors A - L as well as the front line for the Finance / Accounting Department. I am responsible for all checks and monies going into the school district through check, credit card, or cash. Annually I process over $800M in payables. When I first started at Signature Flight Support, I was a regular Customer Service Representative. Shortly after my employment I showed interest in more administrative duties and took on our Fuel Management System (an accounting duty), and was the only CSR that knew how to do it. Then my General Manager opened a first time Administrative Assistant position and asked me to take it. I now reconcile a $25K credit card using our online banking system, and make other building expenses using COUPA Purchasing. Along with those duties I send monthly reports to the Department Of Transportation, and do daily balancing for the base. I also became Microsoft Office Suite certified in high school. I have four years of experience of screening a multi-line phone system and have extensive experience working with multiple personalities.

Finance Administrative Assistant (17.33 P/H) 06/2018 to Current Anchorage School District Anchorage, AK As financial administrative assistant I verify items billed against items received and follow-up with vendors and employees to reconcile variances. Communicate with vendors (A - L) and other ASD employees to facilitate timely payments and reduce outstanding accounts receivable. Balance weekly reports and batch summaries to submit for approval. Monitor accounts payable and receivable statuses and delegated tasks as needed. Review GL and JL entries for accuracy and to determine completeness. Also, I maintained the front desk and reception area in a neat and organized fashion. Routinely served as central point of contact for all outside vendors needing to gain access to the building. I also regularly dispersed incoming mail to correct recipients throughout the office. Managed daily office operations and maintenance of equipment, which included getting fuel trucks to and from maintenance. I have created and maintained multiple spreadsheets for daily use and for corporate to review monthly. I routinely worked without supervision, and was responsible to keep a high level of customer service. I also have experience using the AS/400 system to enter fuel prices for when we would receive fuel. Cashier / Sales Associate (9.50 P/H) 06/2012 to 09/2014 Andy's Ace Hardware Anchorage, AK At Ace Hardware I was mainly in charge of our USPS Post Office department. When I first stared out, I was a cashier to learn about the products and to learn the clientele. Later, I was moved off the register to work the floor and help customers with their daily issues. After a while I showed interest in their contracted USPS Post Office and was given that department. I then started to do inventory of the boxes and stamps and all of the supplies. Soon after started to order the supplies for the daily operation and make sure all of my ordered supplies are accounted for. I learned all the federal rules and regulations while working at the Post Office and had to adhere to them on a daily basis.
