Job Description:
Large design build contractor seeks top structural engineer for design build projects throughout the New Orleans region. Projects are mostly vertical structures.
Candidates must be registered P.E. with 10 years experience ideally.
Ideal qualifications include the following:
Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
10+ years of experience in structural engineering on buildings and sitework preferred
Exceptional relationship building, listening and communication skills
Self-starter with a track record of growth and achieving results results
PE Licensed in LA
Proficiency with Revit, Auto CAD, RISA (or similar structural engineering software), Excel, and web based applications preferred
Ability to prepare structural construction documents
Demonstrated understanding of structural analysis (steel, wood, masonry, concrete) and foundation design
Firm is reputable, established and growing.
Excellent pay. Will relocate.
