Job Description
The Vice President of Finance is the senior officer in the company overseeing financial, IT and other administrative functions. The Vice President of Finance will work closely with the President as business partner and work effectively with all other senior officers and departments within the company. In addition to direct business unit responsibilities, the Vice President of Finance also works closely with corporate financial officers.
Desired Experience:
-- Ten to twenty years experience in finance with mid- to senior-level financial experience.
-- A CPA is preferred.
-- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and information technology systems required.
-- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
-- Ability to analyze financial data and oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements and projections.
-- Experience in an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment would be helpful.
Education:
Undergraduate degree with emphasis in finance or accounting or an MBA or CPA
