Job Description
To develop and provide cost engineering, scheduling and estimating services for the program management team as per the direction of GM- Engineering & Construction
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Review contractors pay applications for accuracy and conformance with progress
- Evaluate contractor cost proposals and provide claim analysis
- Participate in change order negotiations
- Prepare and oversee independent cost estimates for comparison with designer and/or contractors estimates
- ttend contractor progress meetings
- Evaluate contractors baseline schedule and cost-loaded schedule
- Evaluate cost impacts of contractor recovery schedules
- Track project costs to contract closeout
- Perform relevant tasks as requested

Qualifications
B.Sc. in Engineering
Cost engineering specialisation
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience preferably in a large scale construction projects
Thorough knowledge of cost engineering principles
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge in cost engineering soft wares
Preferably working experience in the ME or the Gulf region
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
