10+ years of experience as a Vice President in construction & new stores development
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Business
Multiple years in a leadership position with a big box retailer
Proven track record of delivering projects on time & on budget
Experience working with entrepreneurial owners & tenured department heads
Multiple years in a start-up & growth organization
Excellent organization, negotiation & analysis skills
Strong consensus building skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with internal & external business partners
Excellent coaching & mentoring skills (staff of 12-16)
Superb interpersonal skills
Flexible, resilient & comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to travel 20-25%
Computer skills: Advanced Microsoft Office, CAD, Access, and Graphite
Ability to travel, visit construction sites, stand for long periods of time & climb ladders both inside & outside of buildings.
