Executive Director / Senior Vice President (2005-2008)
Eastern Regional Manager (2003-2005)
A key member of the executive team responsible for overall corporate operations. Maintained profitability levels on local, regional, and corporate levels. Oversaw a staff consisting of regional managers, project managers, superintendents, and support staff within the Eastern Region. Hired, motivated, trained, and mentored staff. Developed and maintained close relationships with clients on a local, regional, and national basis. Promoted and marketed construction services; pursued and negotiated sales.
Key Achievements:
Responsible for the overall operation of a region consisting of nine markets, 60 employees, and $180 million dollars in annual sales.
Provided leadership which increased regional sales from $13 to $180 million dollars annually, and overall corporate sales from $210 to $650 million dollars annually.
Led strategic planning efforts for the Eastern Region. A key member of the executive team that set the strategic direction of the overall organization.
Helped establish Panattoni as a nationally-ranked Top 20 Design Build Construction Company, and the #1 ranked builder of warehouse/distribution facilities in the US.

Responsible for overall project management including: conceptual estimating; land entitlements and due diligence; planning and zoning review; design coordination of multiple Opus and outside consultants; project execution; and close out.
At the point of execution (1996), successfully managed the largest industrial project (921,300 SF) in company history.

Worked closely with both an outside real estate and an architectural firm in a successful collaborative design/build delivery effort. Established as the preferred builder for the Pizzuti Companies, a regionally-recognized real estate development firm. Actively participated in a corporate ISO 9000 accreditation process. Successfully managed various out-of-town projects.
EQUITY CONCEPTS DEVELOPMENT CORP. Columbus, OH 1990 - 1993
Owner and Principal
One of three principals in a start up construction business. Responsible for all project management duties, as well as corporate tax, insurance, and workers’ compensation reporting matters. Established a diverse project portfolio of office, laboratory, medical, educational, and religious clients. Designed and built a “state of the art” audio/video production facility. Served overall project management and supervision roles on multiple projects.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Various mid-level project management and supervision positions with design / build construction and development companies. Began career with Turner Construction as a Field Engineer, and later coordinated projects for corporate headquarter facilities, high rise offices, executive office suites, hospitals, financial institutions, retail centers, and restaurants.
