Provided field inspections, administration duties and various other project management tasks. Summary of work included aeration basins, secondary clarifiers, anaerobic (absence of free oxygen) digesters, chlorine contact tank, equalization basin. $40M GMP Project.
8.0 MGD Water Reclamation Facility Expansion Project (RT Engineers - Archer Western Contractors) City of Surprise, Arizona Construction Management: Provided construction administration and resident engineering inspection services of wet process and solid stream facilities from December 2005 to January 2008. Duties include resident engineering inspections, conducting construction meetings with Contractor and Owner, review and approval of equipment shop drawings and O&M manuals, answering RFIs, processed and approved Contractor monthly payment applications, processed Contractors change order proposals, general construction site management, and daily coordination with the Contractor and Citys Project Manager. The design uses the master planned modular WRF process, and includes influent pump stations, inclined screens, grit chambers, biological nutrient removal using the Kruger bio-denitro oxidation ditch system, secondary clarifiers, disk filter effluent filtration system, solids thickening and dewatering centrifuges, and an aerobic sludge digester treatment system.
