I lead and developed recruiting strategy for the Americas Region - US, Canada and Mexico. Contracted to transition the E-Commerce, Marketing & Product departments from San Francisco to Wake Forest, NC, I accomplished filling 29 positions from Sr. VP to hourly roles in just over 90 days. Due to this accomplishment I began full time to create a staffing strategy for the Americas as well as assisting the European and Asia-Pac locations in staffing hard to fill openings.
Developing a holiday recruiting strategy for the organization, the program resulted in completion of hiring the needed 4,000+ seasonal workers including store, distribution and call center employees in a 5 week period - meeting the goal set by Corporate for the 1st time in 10 years.
Working with the VPs in the Americas region, I performed an operations review, gap analysis and found opportunities to increase bench strength going forward with the staffing plan/strategy for projected needs.
I led a process mapping team to create new field protocols to assist recruiting, retention and rewards and the implementation of an online skills assessment program to find those candidates already possessing the skills to be successful in a retail occupation successfully rolling out the assessment program, including developing/delivering training.

An expectation of the HR team at Sensormatic was that we would perform as a one stop shop for all employees.
This meant that any HR Director was expected to handle from start to finish any issue/problem an employee sought us for including employee relations, harassment investigations, benefit questions, staffing, etc. Our team was very cohesive and we all cross trained extensively to provide our employees with this level of service.
Created specialized recruiting/diversity program for hard to fill field positions and decreased time to fill by over 50%, increased retention by 57% over time and increased number of diverse new hires by 23%.
Created a unique new hire orientation process, naming it "Orientation Express" that delivered a comprehensive, informative look at the company and was designed to help retain employees. Overall turnover percentage was lowered 3.3% in the first 3 quarters after initiation, 1st year turnover declined by 35%. I duplicated this process for Europe, taking into account relevant laws and accommodating the program for cultural norms in the regions.
Designed and implemented RFP process for evaluation and choice of a new applicant tracking system, an on-site temporary help vendor, a relocation company and new ad agency.
