To Whom It May Concern: Would you like a dynamic, energetic yet seasoned Construction Executive with nearly twenty years of hands on construction management expertise and leadership to join your staff to provide enhanced results to your bottom line while enjoying the building process? If so, then you have found the right candidate to help you achieve your goals. The economic conditions in Nevada have led to such a steep decline in the commercial development and construction market here. With this decline, I am seeking a new opportunity to contribute to a new firm in a different market. I thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. I have a passion for people and building; and I have worked with and for some of the most demanding and achievement oriented decision makers in the country. Having worked directly for and reporting to the Presidents and CEOs of my past employers, and having the recent experience of being a partner in a boutique, yet highly successful Las Vegas based general contracting firm I understand risk mitigation, bottom line enhancement, and the art of building successful long-term client relationships. In addition to my executive management and leadership skills, I am a seasoned, construction project manager with hands- on building expertise; and I have worked in every aspect of the business from sales, estimating, hard bidding, design oversight, project buyout, scheduling, interaction with subcontractors, relationship building with authorities having jurisdiction, on-site project management, quality control, and I understand how to manage the day to day operations of a profitable and successful construction and/or development company. I hold professional general contracting licenses in two US states. I am an excellent test taker; and I am confident that I could pass professional exams in other states if needed. My project portfolio consists of all types of project from small tenant improvements up to a $110MM LEED Certified Gold High Rise Class A office. My project expertise crosses several product types including medical, retail, gaming, office, industrial, hospitality, aviation, institutional, government projects, and gas/oil/water pipelines. In addition to my technical construction skill sets, I am strong client relationship building expert. I am experienced in marketing, sales, and all aspects of business development in the construction industry. One of my past employers experienced revenue growth from $28MM in volume to over $400MM in volume during a three year period where I was the Business Development Manager. I am a published author and have contributed as an Expert Advice contributor regarding construction and real estate development topics for the Nevada Business Magazine. My wife and I are energetic and enthusiastic individuals with no children and the ability to travel, relocate anywhere in the world, and commit our time and talents to my career and your companys success if you should choose to establish a relationship with me. While many employees only seek high salary and leave work behind them on the evenings and weekends, after being in executive positions and partnership positions, I understand that my reward is based on income generation and profitability; and I am willing to discuss compensation packages based on bottom line performance. I have several letters of recommendation, project fact sheets, and other substantiation for your review in addition to my current resume. I trust that you will find my resume worthy of your time, and I look forward to meeting with you in person. Sincerely, Jeff P. Manning
