PROJECT EXPERIENCE 2005 - 2009: (PBS&J, Inc.) Line Sections One and Five, Metro Light Rail Construction, Phoenix, AZOffice Engineer, then Resident Engineer: Completed two projects as Resident Engineer, supervising construction of approximately eight miles of urban light rail installation. Combined budget for both line sections was approximately $140 million. Project Accomplishments: Line Sections completed on time, and within approved budget contingency Achieved exemplary safety record Line Section 5 has received 3 awards for excellence, including Engineering News Reports Best of the Best Award for transportation projects for 2008.
1999 - 2005: (STV, Inc.) Dallas Area Rapid Transit Light Rail Construction; Dallas, TXOffice Engineer: Provided input to Resident Engineer for technical and administrative decisions related to construction of five light rail line sections, with a total budget of approximately $150 million. OTHER EXPERIENCE United States Marine Corps. Held various leadership and training management assignments at Marine Corps bases, stations, and operational units. Culminated career as a staff officer on The Joint Staff at the Pentagon, providing mission and cost analyses for input to the Joint Chiefs of Staff for top-level decisions involving structure of forces and procurement of weapons systems.
