Oversee 140+ onsite contractors and construction personnel to monitor and direct development and construction activities; lead team of up to 175 development personnel, accounting, and development managers Led design of development including, engineering and construction teams to implement all civil improvements and completed $70M infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment and power generating plants operational by 2009. Coordinated the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment; managed design development and construction of all infrastructure, residences, resort plans. Oversaw all aspects of islands development and operations which included utilities, domestic water, water wells, wastewater treatment plants, irrigation brackish and R-1 water as well as all resort and island operations staff. In charge of all aspects of 640 acre Indian Ridge Country Club from development, resort operations, to HOA set-up; this project included 36 holes of golf, a 22Ks.f. health spa and sports complex and 44K s.f. clubhouse; this project received the National Housing Quality Silver Award in 2000 awarded to less than 1% Created, developed and implemented companys quality systems and TQM processes; ensured standards and documentation were in compliance with ISO9000. Developed quarterly construction quality and defect measurement system to improve project quality, manage liability and control risk; improved standards led to $8M savings in insurance premiums over a 6-year period. Developed the companys Quality Systems Review (QSR) for trades contractor qualification which was based on ISO9000 standards; ensured all divisions and subcontractors managed quality systems. Achieved an annual pre-tax profit of $24M at Terravita the highest achieved profit to-date for a single project. Conceived and organized in-house products trade show exclusively for Del Webb, this expo held at the Phoenix Convention Center served as a large-scale focus group to measure customer needs and wants versus trends.
