SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Decreased complete and partial facility decommissioning costs by 80%. The automotive company had reduced production requirements creating underutilized capacity which caused several facilities to sit dormant. After analyzing the existing decommissioning process the entire decommissioning model was redesigned, a key factor to our success was to maintain compliance with the regulatory agencys requirements. The first project exceeded all the corporate goals by reducing their costs by over 80%.

Reorganized vendor base to fit current needs, reduced annual fees by $7Million, in the first four years. The Companies environmental vendor base was stagnate in their approach to resolving environmental issues. A matrix was created to evaluate the Top 50 US Environmental Firms and the existing vendor base. After completing interviews and tests, the vendor base was reduced from 20 companies to 4, 3 of which were part of the original vendor list. With our new vendors we reinvented our business model which reduced the annual fees by $7 Million. The Corporate Award for Innovated Thinking was awarded for this work.

Projects never had a Lost Time Injuries. Through means of detailed planning, continuous communication at all levels, never ending field observations, my projects have never experienced a lost time injury.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Principal/Owner 2006 to Present. Developed business opportunities and provided consulting service for decommissioning of automotive and pharmaceutical facilities. Created bid documents, evaluated proposed bidders list, evaluated bids and managed field operations, zero lost time injuries.

Senior Director 2005 to 2006. Developed new business opportunities and resolved open claims.

Automotive. 1992 to 2005

Project Manager. Designed and implemented demolition and construction plans and specifications for the decommissioning of automotive manufacturing plants. Ensued that Contractor was in compliance with all regulatory requirements in the field. Coordinated field operation with plant management. No lost manufacturing time, no lost time injuries.


Value Analyst. Analyze, Evaluate and resolve contractors claims for completed construction and environmental projects. Designed and managed the conversion of the antiquated paper system to a real time electronic system for 15 value analysts.
