Ive designed a number of buildings, working closely with my clients to satisfy their desires. After the design drawings were complete for permitting, I worked with the consultants and contractors to ensure the buildings were constructed efficiently according to the specifications and drawings with few change orders and high quality.

My experiences in architecture and running my own manufacturing business, give me a unique skill set for many positions. From designing and marketing my machinery to solving construction detail issues at the job site, my abilities make me a valuable addition to any organization. Over the years Ive been able manage production workers and architectural design teams developing good leadership skills along the way.

Coaching mens, womens and my own teenage daughters sports teams have given me great insight into people as well as how to motivate and encourage them. I prefer to lead by example and work with people teaching them to think for themselves.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to my architectural experience I was in partnership with my father designing and manufacturing machinery including turnkey biomass processing facilities. We have won national design awards and own US Patents. We conducted our business domestically and abroad. I am experienced in international business. I bring an award-winning design talent as well as a strong background in constructability issues that apply to each project I team on. Experienced in a number of project types, I am passionate about improving the built-environment for those who utilize the buildings I design - whether multifamily residential, office, or youth-at-risk facilities. I have won an award for the design of a homeless teen shelter here in Colorado Springs.
