Senior Project Manager
Managed and lead a $925 million design/build resort/retail/gaming expansion. Project includes a 922 key four-star hotel, specialty venues by House of Blues as well as a state-of-the-art spa, fine dining and retail spaces. Originally hired as Project Manager for the hotel portion of the project. Promoted to Senior Project Manager after six-months on the project. Position subsequently eliminated as the result of project cancellation by Mohegan Tribal Council.

CASINO QUEEN HOTEL & CASINO, East St. Louis, IL (2006 to 2007)
Project Executive
As the Owners Representative, managed and lead design/build program for a 208,000 sq ft $100 million casino facility. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to, development of design, budgets, and solicitation of contractors, bidding and recommendation of awards. The project was a successful MBE/WBE urban renewal project completed within budget and schedule constraints.

TERRAVANT LAND COMPANY, Solvang, CA (2004 to 2006)
Executive Vice President
Managed and lead design/build program for a five hundred acre Master Planned Community as well as corporate design/build department head. Technical and P&L responsible for all aspects of architectural and engineering design; regulatory approvals; site development and commercial construction including five direct and seventy-five indirect reports.

KITE COMPANIES, Indianapolis, IN (2004 to 2004)
Project Executive
Managed and lead four direct and teams of several hundred indirect reports on a $750 million design/build pharmaceutical facility for Eli Lilly. P&L responsible for the design, pre-construction functions and construction management activities of QA/QC laboratories, administrative complex and data center. Client cancelled the project during design phase.

Managed and lead design/build program for thirty-bed, six surgical suite regional hospitals each with MRI and CT facilities as well as a $6 million dual liner accelerator cancer treatment facility.

Construction Manager
Directed pre-construction activities for $400 million, 77-story, structural steel, high-rise office condominium in Bangkok, Thailand. Planned directed and coordinated design and the production architectural staff as well as interfacing between the architectural staff and the structural engineering team. Planned, developed and implemented value engineering program creating $9.4 million in savings in the curtain wall and structural steel scopes of work.

BIRTCHER CONSTRUCTION INTERNATIONAL, Republic of Singapore (1993 to 1994)
International Construction/Operations Manager
Construction/operations consultant to start-up Southeast Asia joint venture. Directed project design, planning and construction activities for a $127 million mid-rise condominium complex. Value Engineered interior finishes creating $3.25 million in savings as well as introducing US QA/QC and ISO 9000 quality standards producing a savings of 75 days in the CPM .

NIELSEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, San Diego, CA (1990 to 1993)

Responsible for two luxury mid-rise condominium projects directing on-site project and construction management activities for projects exceeding $170 million. 1993 SAM Grand Award for Best Attached Home Community. National Association of Home Builders 1994 Best Home Community Award.
