Program Budget and Cost Control Manager
Manager overseeing a team of cost analysts responsible for the budget and cost control on a $5+ billion capital construction program. The program was the largest light rail development program in the U.S. with two projects valued at $3.5+ billion, and monthly expenditures between $60-$100 million. Reviewed and submitted Requests for Information (RFIs) and material submittals, received and logged all Bechtel purchased equipment, prepared field material requisitions and material receiving reports for procured items, performed quality control checks on field work, prepared daily construction reports, and assisted with field modification designs. Coordinated the Integrated Testing Team. Designed an emergency exhaust deflector when the backup generators were overheating the AC cooling units during testing. The solution was implemented and testing resumed as scheduled with no lost time. Designed and updated the Punch List.
