Currently at the threshold of my career with an associates degree in electrical science at Virginia College School of Construction, been researching companies that I feel would be a good fit for my professional interests. Summary of qualifications
My recent job is at Gross Electric Inc. for the past one year. Started as a journeyman electrician, my helper and I worked at 3Ms Resin Project, I was lead man over the whole ground level of the project. We ran IMC conduit from 4-, and pulled wire for power distribution, mounted panels, and set MCC room gear. There after I accepted a foreman position on our Alpha-Pet pets ware house (Pellet Ron), MCC room, PLC s (Pellet Ron System), Simplex Fire Alarm System, Final Storage Silos, Check Silos, Rail Car Loading/Unloading, and truck Loading/Unloading.
My job at I.C.E Contractors Inc. for two years started as a helper. Then six months later expected a journeyman position. Giving me my own truck and own job as an electrician, I.C.E strengthened my ability to diffuse the tension of stressful jobs. One year
And six months really contributed to effective communication with plant managers, problem analysis, and technical resolutions, from common to complex in nature. This required me to go to numerous industrial plants install PLC s, MCC s run all types and size of conduit, trouble shooting and wiring various pieces of equipment.
My first position in the industrial electrical field; was as an apprentice working for S & W Electric, Inc. In the past nine months I have worked side by side with very knowledgeable journeyman and master electricians in the industrial trade. In this time I have experienced a lot and there is so much more I want to learn.
My previous position at Gabriel Electric, I collaboratively worked along side master electricians and electricians from Alabama Power. I enjoyed thoroughly learning the commercial and residential parts of electrical. L&N Electrical Contractors Inc. gave me the stepping stone to have a Career in electrical. I learned a lot about apartment complex and nursing homes. Being a novice at the time, I strengthened my drive to lean more in the electrical trade. Combined, I am confident I would be an asset to your company.
