Energy Efficiency Program Manager, Willdan Energy Solutions, Monrovia, CA. 2010-2011.

In addition to managing a $3 Million energy efficiency program on behalf of Southern California Edison, I specialized in assisting data centers, local government agencies, and corporations identify optimal carbon reduction strategies while simultaneously securing money to offset their implementation costs. Identified over 11.5 million kWh and 1,100 kW of energy savings in the first year of the program.

YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh - identified system upgrades, process improvements, and triple bottom line impacts for non profit organization's green building initiative; which included evaluating the costs and requirements associated with achieving LEED certification for an existing building.

Alcoa, Inc. - participated in the development of a material life-cycle analysis to evaluate short and long-term costs and feasibility of using recyclable aluminum in consumer products; identified environmental emissions break-even point for recyclable aluminum versus plastic in selected product categories.

Eat'n Park Corporation - proposed eco-friendly, profitable alternatives to selling bottled drinking water for Parkhurst catering division; developed pilot program for one university campus to eliminate 63,000 plastic bottles from waste stream at an estimated profit of $20,000 in year one.

Saintgits Institute of Management - collaborated with graduate students and faculty to evaluate sustainable economic development in Kerala, India.

Foundacion Maquicuana - worked with fellow graduate students, faculty, and for/non profit organization located in Ecuador to patent plastic roofing material designed to reduce the nearly 24 tons of plastic entering into the capital city of Quito's landfills on a monthly basis while offering employment opportunities to local residents.

South Fayette School District - assessed carbon footprint for Superintendent's energy reduction initiative.
