Radiation Control Manager, Paducah Site Uranium Disposition Services, LLC 07/2009 - Present Manage the radiation protection program including program management, development, implementation, and day-to-day operations. Develop ALARA design and ALARA review. Perform shielding calculations and airflow studies. Manage the site radioactive program which oversees approximately 36,000 UF6 cylinders. This program involves the surveillance/maintenance of the cylinders/check sources, decontamination, and valve checks/replacement. Develop radiological work permits identifying the PPE / training necessary to perform various jobs and the required job coverage of technicians. Coordinate the internal / external dosimetry programs. Develop survey and release plans as necessary for radiological materials.
