The Lake County Contractors Association (LCCA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Vice President. The individual selected will replace the retiring EVP in December of this year. LCCA represents commercial contractors who contract for work in and around Lake County, Illinois along with suppliers of goods and services to the industry. With an annual budget of $800,000 and a membership of 250, LCCA has a staff of 3 full-time and one part-time employee.

The Executive Vice President reports to a ten-member Board of Directors and is responsible for the full range of activities – coordination of the program of work; organizational structure and procedures; motivation of volunteers; income and expenditures; maintenance of membership; employment, training, supervision and evaluation of staff; maintenance of office; and long range planning. The successful candidate shall possess strong organizational, leadership, financial management, and interpersonal/communications skills. Experience in labor negotiations, construction safety and working with state and local legislators is a plus.

Requirements:

College graduate
At least 5-years experience in association management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Construction industry experience helpful but not required
