| Job Description: |
NBBJ seeks a Markets Manager for Science + Education works directly with Science/Education leadership in the development and execution of NBBJ’s global marketing and business development strategies, marketing content, and marketing budget. This key role is responsible for collaborating with market leadership in driving firm-wide success of the practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills; strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills; and proven ability to enable teams--internally and externally--to work on and execute marketing-related projects.
Sample of Responsibilities:
Client Development
• Establish a management plan for reputation development and relationship building
• Lead in the discovery of market specific research
• Work with and mentor Market Specialists in various aspects of client and project tracking
• Manage market specific mailing lists
Market Development
• Manage Specialists through the process of updating market profiles
• Assist in development and implementation of market-specific PR plan, including collateral materials
• Assist In developing and monitoring market budget
• Work with leadership and Image team to develop photography needs
• Collaborate with Communications to identify and prepare market-specific award submittals
Prospect Management
• Assist Market with selection of appropriate prospects
• Advocate for quality of responses to RFQs, presentations, and potential client interviews
• Ensure quality of template and brand standards
• Establish management plan for reputation development
Qualities Desired:
• Ability to manage peers effectively while driving consensus between leadership and team
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the marketing profession, preferably in Architecture
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field
• Must be proficient with use of Adobe Suite, InDesign, Database management with an eye for detail
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative creative environment
