Description
* Proven ability to develop and manage the annual budget for final approval from the CFO in order to ensure a profitable fiscal year. Ensure all necessary budget revisions
* Proven experience with OSHA requirements and reporting requirements for new structures and in maintaining existing structures at all times and phases of construction
* Ability to ensure the operation of the entire Facilities Department is able to function in order to meet requirements of the inside and outside needs of the Casino and Hotel
* Develop and promote policies and procedures for the Facilities and Maintenance Departments
* Proven ability to manage personnel in the capacity of supervision, coaching, mentoring and all performance issues
* Maintain accurate documentation relating to the records of each team member
* Develops and implements internal control systems and policies and procedures for maintaining all equipment, supplies and assets
* Negotiate and review all contracts for any supplies necessary for the smooth running of the Facility Departments
Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Public Administration, Architecture, or related field, and at least five years related experience.
* Related experience includes design and management of capital projects, budget development and control, and supervision of subordinate personnel.
* Demonstrated effective leadership, technical knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills; understanding of, and experience in accounting, budgeting, finance, collective bargaining, risk management, staff supervision, construction & facility management, general procurement, OSHA, AHERA, ADA codes & regulations, program development, and project management
* Strong budgetary, projections, and cost control skills
* Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor employees
