Position Summary:
Newly created position as senior manager for $25 million Field Service Business Segment. Located in New Orleans, will report to the Divisional Vice President
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete P&L responsibility for main and domestic branch offices that conduct numerous construction and maintenance projects
- Personnel management for engineering, project management, facility operations, craft services, and business development
- Senior level business development for both new and existing domestic markets
- Supervision of all bids, invoices, and contract documents
- Safety Program mentoring and senior level management
- Branch office management and reporting
- Business Segment liaison to upper management and board of directors
Essential Credentials and Experience:
- Verifiable college degree in Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field. MBA and/or significant professional experience will alternately be considered
- 20+ years total experience in the construction and maintenance industry, preferably in I&E for industrial or oilfield applications.
- 10+ years hands-on experience in estimating, project management, scheduling and project tracking, personnel management, and business development.
- 5+ years departmental management experience at $15-20 million gross revenue
- Proven leadership skills across the full spectrum of construction personnel.
- Capability to prepare and present project proposals, business correspondence, and executive summaries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office computer environment
- Availability to travel by car or air, typically overnight several times per month
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
Desired Qualifications:
- License in Engineering or Construction, multiple states preferred
- Access to influential industry contacts conducive to rapid business development
- Experience with legal documents, insurance issues, and change order disputes management
- In-depth experience with corporate financial statements including P&L, DSO, Job Cost Analysis, and inventory management
- Understanding of Behavior Based Safety Systems
