| Job Description: |
The Director of Construction & Facilities is responsible for overall supervision of physical locations, general maintenance and security needs.
Primary Responsibilities
* Building of new stores, including soliciting bids, and overseeing construction.
* Solicits bids and supervises remodeling and alterations of stores as directed.
• Responsible for store maintenance, truck/van maintenance, store display, store fixtures and company security.
Requirements
Candidates must possess the following:
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction & Facilities Director in a retail setting, with solid technical knowledge of Plant Operations/ Maintenance
* Demonstrated effective managerial capability on construction programs of comparable scope and complexity is also required, as well as excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management).
* Direct responsibility for managing construction phase processes and procedures, in a project delivery organization
* Responsibility for managing a portfolio of simultaneous construction projects
* Significant vertical construction experience in an urban environment would be a plus
* Direct knowledge of the Nevada construction market would be a major plus
* Appropriate Construction Safety and Quality Assurance training
• Practical or formal training in proper application of project management tools
