| Job Description: |
The Safety Director is responsible for all the aspects of our Safety and Health program.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Reviewing existing policies and procedures to insure that they are in compliance with OSHA. Coordinate any procedure or policy changes that must be done based on the review.
- Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) meetings for each project to identify the hazards on each project.
- Develop weekly tool box talks that address the hazards defined in the JHA.
- Make weekly job site visits in order to conduct a safety audit to make sure that each job is in compliance with our safety program as well as the OSHA standards.
- Coordinate any OSHA related matters including OSHA visits/investigations and informal conferences.
- Conduct accident investigations with regards to General Liability, Workers Compensation and Builders risk.
- Work with the insurance companies to get cases close as soon as possible.
- Maintain statistics for Senior Management.
- Maintain the Drug and Alcohol testing programs.
- Manage the Safety Incentive Program.
