| Job Description: |
We are growing and our design team needs a Senior Designer.
Technical Skills include:
-5+ years design experience
-Strong knowledge of color, styles, fabric, furniture, and materials
-Ability to plan and implement all aesthetic and functional decisions from
faucet handles to carpeting within a fixed budget
-Excellent communication with design team, clients, and contractors
-Ability to oversee scheduling and ordering, installation and maintenance of
all objects that define a space
-Solid knowledge of fixed finishes, electrical design, and layout codes
-Past success in project and construction management including scheduling and
planning techniques
-Expertise in a variety of styles and approaches, as well as, the ability to
balance the aesthetic with the functional
-Experience producing sketches and ideas for client presentations by hand or
computer (AutoCAD 2005 or higher)
-Ability to demonstrate 3-D presentations, animated walkthroughs, and scaled
dimensional space plans
-Knowledge of data management techniques
-Green design and eco friendly resources a plus
As a key member of our management team, we are looking for experience managing people and talent identification, strong oral and written communication skills, strong judgment and decision-making, and solid skills using
MS Office Suite
