Our business is booming and we need an experienced Estimator who is very familiar with what it takes to install all types of landscape products. The work we do is strictly landscape installation and remodel (not maintenance). Including pavers, masonry, water features, irrigation, planting, sod, exterior carpentry, lighting, outdoor kitchens, BBQs, fire pits, swimming pools, etc. Must be familiar with plant types. Duties include: - Reviewing estimates of each of our sales people to ensure the labor hours and materials are accurate. We mostly do residential landscape installation / remodel jobs. - Doing take-offs - Determining quantities and costs for labor and materials. - Determining when and what permits are needed. - Preparing estimates for larger commercial work. - Reviewing job costing. - Assisting us in developing a codified estimating system. Qualifications and Requirements: - 5+ years experience with landscape construction and estimating. - 5+ years experience specifically with landscape projects including softscape, irrigation, masonry, hardscape and exterior carpentry. - PC proficiency with CAD programs, Excel, Word, Outlook. - Knowledge of local municipality building permit requirements. - Ability to multi-task at high speed. - Proficiency with construction plans and blueprints.
