EDiS of Wilmington, DE is looking for a Business Development/Sales Manager for the Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware marketplace. This newly created position will be responsible for generating and qualifying sales opportunities.
Job Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Business Development to develop objectives and strategies in the geographic region.
Engage client and professional service provider networks in the geographic region. Represent EDiS at client, industry, and civic events, member of potential construction project organizations; market sector trade organizations Position EDiS with potential clients to secure business Prospecting for business in the Southern Pennsylvania and Delaware markets. Track, update, manage, and report clients and project opportunities in the company's database. Take the lead in the development of proposals, interviews, and other client communications. Working with the Director of Business Development and the Operations staff to define winning strategies. Develop and qualifying prospects. Communicate the value proposition of the company for small and large projects as well as for multiple types of buildings. Write proposals that detail the company's services, competencies, and pricing for a particular project and opportunity. Required Experience
Presentation coaching skills and managing the process and team Knowledge of and network within geographic region of Southeastern PA and/or Delaware. Knowledge/experience in a construction related industry. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or Marketing Minimum 3 years of business development, project management or estimating experience Competencies Related to this Position:
Outgoing, friendly, approachable, organized and has the ability to accept rejection as part of your daily workday. Ability to interact with people at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to remain poised and professional under pressure. Proven success and track record developing and marketing services to prospective and existing clients. Ability to be strategic and creative. A self-starter, goal oriented, and passionate about sales and success. Must be team oriented. Position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.?
