| Job Description: |
Provide direction of all estimating activities in the company, providing technical and administrative direction to insure corporate objectives are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Minimum 10 years experience with large General Contracting Co. in Preconstruction/Estimating
- Ability and proven track record to manage, train and mentor a department of 12 – 15 employees
- Ability to integrate Preconstruction and Operational issues
- Ability to prepare bid packages and ensure timely and accurate pricing
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of MC² software program
- Will involve some travel and requires relocation to MS Gulf Coast
Additional Requirements:
Educational and experience requirements include:
Four (4) year Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
Advanced management or technical training preferred.
Extensive (10 or more years) experience in similar facility construction estimating and related functions
Thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts required.
Excellent organizational, coaching and decision-making/ problem-solving skills essential.
