Symmetra Design is an emerging transportation planning and traffic engineering consulting firm located in downtown Washington, DC. We are at the forefront of the transportation industry, by planning and engineering multi-modal solutions that appeal to the balanced needs of urban environments and metropolitan areas. We develop innovative transportation solutions for the federal government, major universities, urban planners and private developers. We are looking for a creative energetic business development /marketing manager to join our team of professional engineers.
Candidate will be responsible for developing and managing sales leads, preparing proposals and preparing marketing materials.
Requirements
Graduate from a college or university with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or the equivalent combination of work experience and education. Basic knowledge of the Architect/Engineering industry a plus. Experience in desktop publishing applications such as Microsoft Publisher, Adobe, or Photo Illustrator beneficial. Ability to form effective relationships with key people external to the firm and other external groups. Strong communication and process/project management skills. Other duties will include client management and attending meetings.
