Job Location: Lexington , KY Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Products - Equipment Job Description: SUMMARY Generate and maintain profitable Controls Projects for CPS by maintaining a quality customer service attitude and strong work ethic. Handle incoming calls in an expeditious manner, as well as assist commercial/industrial Controls Projects staff with commercial/industrial equipment order issues. Responsible for telephone coverage, assisting customers with technical information, proficient in commercial/industrial product line, support Controls Projects Engineers’ Controls Projects efforts and call on assigned house accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize all available technology in the design and/or configuration of total building control systems. Emphasis is on the creation of lowest total installed cost-effective system that meets customer expectations. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design to customers, field installation team and subcontractors. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in engineering with three years experience, or an Associate's degree in a related technical field with seven years of relevant work experience. Related technical experience as indicated in the minimum education requirements. Knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry and its methodology. Knowledge of cost control techniques, accounting principles, and inventory management. Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems. Experience in the integration of electric, electronic and pneumatic systems.
