Senior Director Capital Project Management   Employer: Hilton Hotel Corporation Job Location: Los Angeles , CA Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Owners Job Description: This position is responsible for directing all design and construction aspects related to capital improvements in company owned, leased and JV hotels in The Americas. This includes oversight of programming, budgeting, scheduling and procurement functions to deliver high quality facilities on time and within the approved budget. This position works closely with the Vice President, Captial Project Management D&C to ensure consistency with the department's philosophy throughout the company. Basic Qualifications * At least 8 years experience within Project Management; with 6 years in a management role,including 2 years of large scale senior management experience on projects of $10M or more in construction value. * Proficient in MS Office Suite * Excellent budget development and cost management skills, including the ability to track expenses against commitments, set priorities for funding, accurately forecast future costs and develop annual budgets * Extensive understanding of the principles and practical application of design & construciton * Ability to travel as required, overnight as needed Preferred Qualifications * 4 year degree * 10 years of hospitality industry experience preferred, with a mix of experience from Project Management roles * Extensive understanding of the principles and practical application of design & construciton with strong focus on the hosptiatlity industry Company Description: A World of Opportunities: Hilton Hotels Corporation (Hilton) offers a variety of global opportunities.
