Human Resources Manager, Safety   Employer: American Gypsum Company Job Location: Gypsum , CO Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Products - Equipment Job Description: Job Purpose: Responsible for safety and human resources function at the Gypsum, Colorado plant. Job Duties: * Recruit and retain a skilled workforce * Provide guidance and monitor safety concerns and issues as well as conduct safety inspections * Provide leadership for safety committee, conduct safety training * Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all OSHA, state and company safety regulations * Investigate plant accidents and recommend corrective actions * Consult with employees and managers on safety and/or employee relations issues * Administer workers compensation process * Supervise payroll function * Maintain strong ties to the local community Requirements * BS/BA degree in safety, human resources or a related field * Minimum 5 years safety/HR experience in a manufacturing environment * Solid experience in development and administration of safety programs * Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regs, federal and state labor laws * Must possess strong communications and computer skills * Must have a valid drivers license * Ability to work in a plant setting, ability to be on-call How to Apply: Please apply by submitting your resume through the Submit Resume button.
