Manage multi-million dollar projects, including fossil, solar, biomass and environmental retrofit projects. Responsibilities: �Responsible for Safety initiatives and meeting corporate goals �P&L responsibility for EPC. �Multi-project management of projects averaging several hundred million dollars. �Management of the client relationship for all subjects relative to project execution and construction contract management. �Performance tracking (schedule, budget, risks, claims, EH&S, quality, etc.) and implementation of correction measures if necessary �Implementation of project management procedures �Monthly project review and reporting �Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the construction function and improvement of NRG generating facilities. �Provide leadership and guidance regarding development and implementation of short and long-term strategic initiatives. �Evaluate the effectiveness of current construction practices and standards and develop and manage the implementation of changes to improve the process. �Provide leadership to the project management team. Provide timely and accurate feedback regarding performance. �Oversee the budget process. Assure adherence to the budget plan and balance cost and risk management. �Assure the development and attainment of an environment that fosters a high performance culture and a learning organization.
