The Energy Association represents the interests of the Commonwealth’s PUC-regulated electric and natural gas energy distribution companies, five Associate members and over-95 Affiliate members. Prior to the merger, both associations represented the interests of their respective regulated natural gas and electric, vertically-integrated industries. However as a result of recent state laws that have deregulated both industries, the focus of the associations has narrowed to representing the interests of the regulated energy distribution companies.
