Job Description: |
Preparation of estimates for large design-build transportation projects. Take a lead role in a team of estimators and design consultants to identify project requirements, develop design concepts, and produce innovative and cost-effective solutions that satisfy owner specifications. Supervise completion of design effort and development of quantities of work. Be responsible for estimate completion, reviews, and reporting to management, through final close-out. Projects range in size from $200 million to over $1 billion, and include highways, toll roads, rail, major bridges, airports, and marine facilities.
Basic Job Requirements
Degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years experience in estimating large, heavy civil, highways, bridges, concrete structures, mass excavation and/or rail experience. Design-build experience a plus.
