Job Description: |
The Senior Corporate Controller will be tasked with adding to the strategic leadership, planning, and action of the financial management of all business entities.
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities: • Administer the functions of being the Company Chief Accounting Officer, supervising all Corporate accounting staff, planning, accounting and implementing financial control policies, reporting and interpreting results, protecting assets and tax administration • Analyze new accounting trends with excellent knowledge of GAAP and IFRS • Monitor daily accounting operations • Prepare, present and interpret internal and external financial reports to management and appropriate groups • Serve as consultant to senior, peer and subordinate executives and staff • Serve as regulatory liaison with federal, state and local taxing authorities • Work with outside regulatory and consulting firms
Requirements
Requirements: • 10+ years of Senior Accounting/Tax Leadership Experience • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required • Ability to Offer both Strategic and Hands-on Leadership • Significant and Recent Corporate Tax/IRS Knowledge a Must

Technical knowledge required of controllers includes the following: • Excellent understanding of company policies and practices • Recent knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing corporations • Command knowledge of PC operations, accounting software including MS Excel and other consolidation tools, ERP systems; preferably JD Edwards.
