Our client is Colorado's most trusted cabinetry dealer.​ Based in Englewood, Colorado their staff has been designing beautiful kitchens and baths as well as whole-house cabinetry in the Denver metropolitan/​Front Range area for over 30 years.​ They combine terrific products with award-winning design and remodeling services to achieve exceptional results.​ Our client is a privately held design, supply, installation and service company.​ The company provides residential cabinetry solutions for homebuilders, general contractors, interior designers, architects and homeowners.​ Among its many awards, our client was awarded the “Best Kitchen” in the 2008 Denver Parade of Homes.​



POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Director will be responsible for prospecting and lead generation with industry targets that will result in new business for the company.​ Through developing and executing a successful sales strategy, this person will contribute significantly to the organizations growth and development.​ This role will also require marketing and networking initiatives to be carried out to generate interest in the company.​ The Business Development Director will work closely with other team members such as Designers and management.​



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities


* Prospecting/​cold calling, ideally on owners of small to medium sized companies

* Develop relationships that result in qualified leads

* Phone and face-to-face communication and follow up with customers

* Consistent, measurable and productive pipeline of potentially profitable business that fits the goals of the company

* Stay informed and educated of the markets/​trades the company serves or could serve

* Implementing, managing and maintaining a CRM system to track marketing and sales activities

* Represent the company at home shows and trade events

* Uphold the impeccable reputation for being honest, ethical and acting with integrity

* Operate at a high level of productivity and independence with effective reporting to management




QUALIFICATIONS


* Ideally 3 to 5 years experience selling within the construction/​contracting industry

* Formal sales training

* Experience implementing and working with CRM systems

* Prospecting/​cold calling experience selling business to business

* A customer first attitude is a must

* Track record of success in sales, customer retention and customer service

* Strong computer skills

* Highly motivated by success, a HUNTER that will accept no barriers

* Positive, outgoing and high energy with a “can-do” attitude, a self-starter

* Excellent listening skills

* Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
