Job Description: POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Northwest Regional Manager will report to the President and supervise area managers and support staff and work with all Regional Managers, Corporate Leaders, including finance, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, and Business Development. The Regional Manager will be responsible for (Bellevue, Spokane, WA; Portland, OR offices) and will be responsible for program and construction management projects with both public and private clients. Projects include but are not limited to transit (rail, airport, port, road and bridge, bus, and tunnel), water facilities, GSA, education (universities, colleges, and K-12 schools), libraries, hospitals, government (DOE, DOD, and COE), correctional facilities, environmental remediation, and industrial facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and direct the profitability of the Northwest Region toward its primary objectives based on long-term growth and development
*
Manage all Northwest Region operations including strategic planning and department budgets
*
Achieve Hill’s goals for increasing and encouraging client connections
*
Provide project oversight to ensure excellent service to our clients
*
Ensure Northwest Region RFP’s RFQ’s and SOQ’s represent Hills BD and marketing principles and objectives
*
Effectively communicates with the President and Finance Department on financial and economic performance indicators
*
Leads the business development efforts of the Region
*
Works with the Contracts Manager to review and verify all Regional contracts
*
Direct, observe, and report on regional business procedures
*
Guide, authorize, and implement the major plans and procedures consistent with the goals of the company
*
Develop new and build on existing relationships and networks with industry professionals
*
Develop a client contact matrix to monitor overall project satisfaction
*
Manage, develop, and strengthen the present professional staff
*
Meet with staff and conduct annual performance appraisals

QUALIFICATIONS:

*
Minimum of fifteen years experience in the construction management industry including experience with Pacific Northwest clients
*
Must have a bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
*
Graduate degree is a PLUS!
*
Must have hands-on experience managing a major business unit
*
Proven track record resulting in major client development and Project WINS
*
Strong proven problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
