Job Description: |
JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Manager role is to oversee an entire project or multiple projects in UT, NV, ID, and Eastern WA. They schedule and coordinate all design and construction processes. These managers coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets done on time and within budget. They often work with owners, engineers, architects, and others who are involved in the construction process and oversee the planning, scheduling, and implementation of designs to complete the project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):
* Oversee and provide overall management of assigned contracts from beginning to end.
* Act as liaison with Government Project Managers and Inspectors.
* Ensure job-site safety, quality control, and high level workmanship.
* Stop work in case of quality deficiencies or safety violations/hazards.
* Attend job walks to determine site conditions, constructability and requirements.
* Attend all meetings relating to assigned contracts.
* Prepare and maintain required reports and documentation.
* Prepare accurate and cost-saving estimates as needed.
* Communicate effectively and regularly with customers.
* Negotiate contracts with Government representatives as needed.
* Coordinate and monitor daily activities of subcontractors.
* Maximize subcontractor responsiveness.
* Update Program Manager weekly on job status.
* Prepare bid documents and proposals as needed.
* All other typical responsibilities related to the management and oversight of construction projects.
* All other tasks as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
* BBA / BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
* Certified Professional Constructor certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* 5 Plus years experience in a Project Manager role in commercial construction REQUIRED.
* Experience with government contracts REQUIRED.
* SABER contract experience REQUIRED.
* Task Order experience REQUIRED.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Moderate levels of stress may occur.
DECISION MAKING:
* This position has limited decision-making authority.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
* Ability to keep proprietary information confidential.
