Beck Job Location: Denver , CO Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Related Professions Job Description: The Senior Project Manager (Consultant) will be a recognized industry leader that is known and respected by government utility agencies and will be responsible for contributing to the expansion of a national Automatic Metering Infrastructure (AMI) consulting service area. He/she will provide services to public or private utilities by consulting on the feasibility, business case, planning, implementation, program management and management consulting on AMI assignments. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for leading work in a team atmosphere, overseeing multiple projects and activities, providing technical/managerial expertise and assisting to expand service offerings in a national market. He/she will be responsible for interacting with other Beck practice and sales personnel; performing client management activities; AMI project management and providing sales support in pursuit of market opportunities. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible to lead and develop AMI staff in the Utility Services Practice and manage significant, complex projects for large organizations. Specific work will include AMI feasibility, business case development, planning & design, program management planning and implementation support, meter data management system planning, procurement support and utility management consulting. Requirements * Bachelors degree in Environment/Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required; MBA preferred * 10-15+ years of relevant experience in consulting firm(s) providing services to the water/wastewater industry * 5 + years relevant business and technical experience with AMI in the water industry * Demonstrated competency in business process consulting, organizational change management, facilitation and public presentation * Strong leadership skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff * Experience as a Senior Project Manager of large consulting projects and leading skilled, motivated project teams to successful project completion * Solid track record of identifying business opportunities including AMI or utility management consulting, utilizing business development resources effectively, and expanding project backlog and client base Company Description: R.
