Job Description: |
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the tracking, reviewing, and summarization of the myriad environmental regulations that impact the cruise industry from organizations and agencies throughout the world. Drive the creation and oversight of environmental compliance programs for all Disney Cruise Line itineraries. Conduct audits and training onboard the ships.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Proven experience analyzing environmental regulations and developing programs to comply with them
* Proven knowledge of the regulatory process
* Demonstrated strong analytical skills
* Proven strong background in summarizing complex material
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently
* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, which will include the willingness to travel
* Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution
* Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree or equivalent
* Proven Maritime experience
* Proven Auditing experience
* Proven ability to work in culturally diverse environment
* An understanding of chemistry and basic engineering
* Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Strong team player
* Strong project management skills
* Willingness to take on new challenges
* Ability to build consensus
