Job Description: Baltimore City Dept of Public Works is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Division Chief III - Engineering.

Directs and coordinates engineering projects for new construction or improvements to water, wastewater and surface water conveyance systems and related facilities including two major wastewater treatment plants and three water treatment plants in the Baltimore Metropolitan Region. Oversees the fiscal management of the Division, authorizes all major expenditures, and directs the requisitioning of equipment, materials and supplies. Develops operating and capital budgets and provides oversight for capital program of $2.2 billion.


Requirements
A bachelor's degree in eng + five yrs exp in performing water eng work + two yrs supv responsibility. A master's degree in eng may be substituted for one yr of the exp requirement. Professional Engineer license required and a valid Maryland Class C noncom driver's license or equiv out-of-state driver's license is acceptable.
