The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the woodworking industry so that they are able to talk intelligently to customers and prospective customers in detail about prospective and current projects. Ideally he/she also is well connected in the construction industry since this is our target customer audience. Your previous sales experience means you will know how to organize your time to be most productive in seeking out new business and managing existing accounts and projects. Your job will involve a mix of two elements. The first element will be seeking out new projects for bid. You will work with our bidding manager to compile and submit the bid and liase with the prospective customer along the process. The second element is managing current customers and projects. Once a job has been won you will be the main point of contact at Taylor Newman Cabinetry for that customer. You will be expected to visit the job site and converse between the manufacturing team and the client with regards to schedules of delivery and payments. Competitive salary and bonus structure.
