We have an immediate opening for an immediate opportunity for a Vice President of Federal Design. This strategic position offers rewarding management and leadership opportunities. Join a growing company as a member of the senior management team and play a major role in managing a profitable growing division. Responsibilities will include:

* Division Leadership
* Establishment of business development priorities/strategies
* Management of client relationships
* Management of contracts including fee proposals/negotiations
* Internal company operations and staff management
* Implementation of project and operational performance requirements
* Coordination of resources, scheduling and division budget
* Quality control/Quality assurance
* Ability to sign and seal construction documents
* Participate in the firm's strategic plan
* Coordination with other company departments
* Develop employee’s competencies by taking an active role in employee career development.
* Encourage and support licensing and on-going education.
* Conduct performance and salary reviews

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors in Architecture, Engineering or related area
* Professional Architecture or Engineering License
* At least 10 years of experience in A&E industry in a leadership capacity
* At least 5 years of federal experience
* Experience with space planning, architectural design, interior design, planning and construction experience
* Proficiency in MS Office products, MS Project, MS Project and Excel
* Excellent communication, both oral and written; and strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Experience with focusing on client and employee needs, demonstrating business acumen, and professional commitment
* US citizenship
* Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree
* LEED AP certification
