(KBR) Job Location: Arlington , VA Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Design Build Firms Job Description: Responsible for oversight of a construction program (greater than $100 million annual revenue) composed principally of United States Air Force (USAF) funded projects. Typical projects are design-bid-build and design build. Lead the project management team in planning and execution of projects to meet project goals and client expectations and to optimize value to the company. Provide input during project acquisition and participate in contract negotiations. Manage the contract. Responsible for project planning and budget development. Guide the selection and deployment of resources. Lead the project team in implementing Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards. Manage execution of operations and project support activities. Resolve disputes and problems. REQUIREMENTS · Degree in Construction Management or Engineering · 20+ years of progressive, professional experience in the construction industry · 4+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry supporting government and/or infrastructure projects · Proven experience managing construction and/or engineering projects for the United States Air Force (USAF) · Large project portfolio experience ($50+ million) · Willingness to make periodic business trips overseas including travel to Iraq and/or Afghanistan · Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred · United SAF Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) experience desirable · International project management experience a plus BENEFITS KBR offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive range of lifestyle benefits, including a flexible work schedule.
