Environmental Manager   Employer: ESSROC Cement Corp Job Location: Martinsburg , WV Cash Compensation: Industry Type: Building Products - Equipment Job Description: Develop, implement and execute all environmental compliance programs for the Essroc cement plant in Martinsburg, WV. Cement or heavy industry experience A MUST!!!! Responsibilities: * Work with corporate environmental staff and plant management in yearly plant environmental audit program. * Work with corporate environmental staff and plant management to develop and implement environmental programs. * Monitor all plant environmental programs for compliance - BIF, RCRA, CWA, CAA, SPCC, NPDES, Storm water, EPCRA, TRI, SARA, CERCLA, TSCA, PDS, NSR, NSPS and solid waste programs. * Ensure all environmental requirements and regs are identified and completed in a timely manner. Monitor the permitting process and negotiate permits as required. * Monitor federal rules and regulations which may affect the plant and ensure that this pertinent information is communicated effectively. * Develop compliance programs, monitoring programs and provide assistance for compliance, permitting, enforcement and other activities. * Work with plant and management staff to ensure yearly environmental goals and objectives are met and work towards continuous improvement and serve on industry interest group committees as needed. * Work with operations, legal, and management to assist in alternative fuel and material permitting processes. * Other environmental projects as assigned and work with the community as needed. Requirements: * Beachelor's degree in environmental, engineering or related discipline. * Minimum 7+ years in cement manufacturing or heavy industry. * Strong knowledge in environmental compliance and manufacturing processes. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Working knowledge of air regulatory programs and Title V preferred.
